I got woken up @ 6 am by our cat playing with a live mouse, (under the frickin bed) that he had bought in. Luckily by the time I was properly awake (half a sec later) it was dead and being pulled limb from limb.

He's mental and will try and hunt and kill anything he can get close to, without any fear, from a massive dead rat he brought in the kitchen, with blood trails all over the floor, right upto a massive crow he tried for the other day.

    Cute and deadly...

    Cats are ace!

try typing 'cat sink' into google Image. WTF is with that !!??

anyway, cats are kinda cool. my ex had a real mean hunter who used to drag rats into the kitchen ar 4am and crunch em dead.
But you know that organ that all animals leave no matter how carnivorous they are, like the gall-bladder or something? yeah anyway, dont step on it in the middle of the night on floorboards, it does feel so wrong

Its wicked how they have no concept of size isn't it.
If it moves and is furry or feathery they want to eat it!!!

    Indeed Fozzy...

When I was a kid we had a cat that while not that much of a hunter (he would try but just didn't have the knack / skills) would actively threaten or attack dogs, which was cool until he tried it on with a grey hound who tore him to bits, well big holes in his neck / back...

The vet managed to stick him back together somehow, and after a week of lying there nearly dead and not moving he came back to life.

Never tried it on with a dog after that...

    She was quite small actually.

Present cat (the Killer) 'Tuesday' is also quite small, and will fight any cat who comes near him, even if one just walking past him on the wall he'll take a swipe at it (even tho he's snipped).

    Yeah.

I've got a photo of a cat sat on a fence preparing to make a move on a proper full size eagle.

Also a photo of my cat dragging around one of his pigeon victims, it's literally bigger than him...Will try and put it up.

There's one who sits on our fence who is a fluffly long haired one, Rasta-cat with tatty dreads, he just sits there all day long, purs when you go anywhere near him, and just sits there and takes it without flinching when Tuesday walks up and jabs him in the face...

PM me your email and I'll send you em both and you can stick em up, I'm crap with images and stuff.

The pigeon one's good too, really catches aspects of the cat's 'possessed / evil / beast' hunter mode...
