    sorry to disappoint you, but cats hearing range starts at 45 Hz, so your picture is wrong.
    even if they could hear that low, you'd never get 40 Hz from those Alesis..i know, coz i have em too..

    hahahaha! QUALITY!! my cat... when she was alive... used to do the same... loved sitting on my lap while i was writting tunes...... cats are soo weird!

    Don't you know that bass cones (pink ones to be exact) around cats' necks augments their hearing on low freqs?:cat:

    Gets frustrating though when most of the time she tries to catch the mouse cursor...
