had enuff of dese mc crews especially higher level. Shabba is much betta wen he mcs on his own as oppose to wiv shit mcs like fukin grime reject stormin or waitin 4 da mic 2 be passed 2 him - yardie.
y r mcs formin crews jus like it was in grime music. neva used 2 b da case bak in da late 90s early 20s das y da music was beta in dem days
 
Need more MC Crews in my opinion, never can be enough. One day if we're lucky theyll be a certain MCs birthday bash every day of the year. It would be a dream. They could stick on the latest Hype mix CD on repeat, go at it for days on end. The pilled up munters wouldnt know which foot too land on. But this is just a dream, lets just agree MCs are shit.

Peeps that come into a thread like this just to state 'All mcs are shit' or similar are being nothing but negative, clearly not everybody feels the same way and Mcs are a fundmental part of our scene whether u like or not. Just pipe down

I am bored to MC Crews too UNCZ especially, I didn't mind them when they first come with loads of fresh stuff...now it's boring... and they are all better off performing individually.

This whole thing is about opinions.

Let's all pipe down and close the forum for good!
 
As an emcee I'd say its good to roll w/ other emcees, if the emcees are at or near your level, because it can breed some healthy competition to make you step your game up eg. Shabba writing more now that he's rolling with Stormin'....but on the same token, it shouldn't be necessary to always perform together, especially when its a large number of MCs it becomes a competition for mic time, and turns people off from emcees in general...where as 2 emcees who can play off each other well I believe makes for the ideal set....although 1 emcee who can hold shit down isn't too far off from that...

Shadow Demon has been around longer than I can remember. Bassman, Trigga, $pyda...they've all been doing their Shadow thing since '95 - and they were at their best then (imo) until about '99 when the swing to the early jump-up/dancefloor sound really took place. They were better over jungle. Much better.
