I just want to start a little discussion on this one. Personally I think he ruins every set he is on.

I don't understand who keeps booking him? Why does he make a bird noise then kill the bird, is it just me?

I was playing a set in Loughborough a few months back and some pilled up pikey asked me if I had any tunes with Bassman vocals. Odd!

    May the banter begin!

cheers for the info but I would not play it on principal. Im pretty sure I heard a tune with him on Kool FM not so long ago. Pretty sure it was a Logan D w/ Eksman set from a couple of months back.

Hate as I do the majority of MC's. There are only a few I can stand and that is getting shorter as the years go by

Same, I'd much rather listen to a set with no MC. Some do make me laugh though.

Generally I do avoid them but sometimes he manages to get on an Andy C set that I wanna hear. If I was Djin I would ask for anyone but.

Its an alright tune, his vocals don't really have a huge impact on the tune.

sounded like he wasn't willing to give it a chance simply as it had basemon on it.

L double ripped it from a live set back in the day (he was playing at i believe) when all the power cut out at rave.

bassman was on the mic and said something along the lines of 'the speakers have blown up because the bass too dark'

He's not called The Teacher for know reason you know...

Funny how the aforementioned Andy C, or whichever big DJ you care to think of, would be more than happy to have him on set...

Thing is, I can understand why people wouldn't like him & I will even say he his appeal to me has declined over the past 5 years, but you need to go way, way back to classic Hysterias/Pure X'/Amazon/Roast etc to realise the impact he/Shadow Demon had on the scene to appreciate...

It's the same as Hyper D, like him or loathe him, his impact is undeniable.

Edit: In fact I have him on a Club Dreamscape tape with Ribbz & DJSy from Eclipse in Coventry from before Dreamscape 1, so...
