massive disabled in ableton... duplicate problem

Sometimes when I try to duplicate a midi channel in ableton that has the Massive VST active the duplicate channel will have massive disabled for no apparent reason.

Any ideas? It's really annoying...

Even when I freeze the original channel and then try to duplicate it still does it
But then when I unfreeze the original channel it disables Massive forcing me to load my project again from a previous save point
