BUTCHER GEIN:
GEIN, appropriately named after the Plainfield Wisconsin pyscho Edward
Gein, consists of The Butcher (formerly of Defiant), Abel(MC) and
Saint (founder of Habit Recordings). Formed in early 2004, the crew linked
up when Butcher moved from Los Angeles to Milwaukee, joining Saint and
Abel to create one of the most twisted group of producers out there today.
GEIN's sound can have a variety of "labels", but BRUTAL comes to mind
when most come to describe the demented beats that are forged in the lab.
Coming off a scorching 2006, GEIN is set to take things ten steps further in
2007. With an E.P. for Moving Shadow (Street Sweeper EP) and a 12" for
Freak (Hate / Father Of Lies) in the bag, GEIN's forthcoming material is raising
eyebrows across the board. Some current forthcoming projects include a
Habit 12" (Telepathy w/Bitfiendz / Hell) that has been causing a ruckus around
the world. Freak / Tech Freak will be putting out an E.P. consisting of GEIN and
Arsenic's "Bitch", "The Sermon", and two brand new, still unfinished ones.
Also on the chopping block, GEIN is remixing Dylan's classic darkstepper
"Witchcraft", as well as Technical Itch's "Hex", two massive undertaking that they
believe will raise the bar one step further. Also lined up are collaborations with
the likes of the mighty Evol Intent, a release on Defcom Recordings, and more
output on Habit / Freak / Tech Freak. Plus let us not forget the SKINSUIT SESSIONS,
GEIN's online mixes which have achieved cult-like status across the world on the
forums and message boards. Plans for the latest installment are in the works.
Watch out for GEIN in 2007 and beyond. With support from the likes of
heavyweights Dylan, Tech Itch, Dieselboy, AK1200, Bkey, Evol Intent, Ewun,
Limewax, SPL, TZA, Counterstrike and more, these three will surely be a strong
presence in drum n bass for a long time, and will be coming to kill dancefloors
and blow up speakers near you.

PROLIFIC:
Prolific is one of the youngest and most talented DJ’s to come out of NW Florida in some time. Whether it’s rocking B-Boy Jams, Tablist Partys, Microphones or an all out Dnb assault, Prolific is moving the crowd with profound turntable routines, intricate lyrics and original tracks with a unique assortment of flavor. Prolific's real name is Carmel Ceravolo. He began his musical journey as a child picking up a fretless jazz bass at the age of 10. His passion to make music started with playing with a couple of thrash metal and punk bands through his teen years. After learning to play bass and guitar at very high level he eventually moved to learning the tablist technique and other types of music production.
He started to freestyle with fellow friends and opponents at house parties and on the streets. Eventually he started battling and sharpening his lyrical skill, winning many battles and creating a buzz on the gulf coast and surrounding areas only to find out that ripping the mic was not what he really wanted to do with his musical talents. DJ’ing was the next step. He started cutting before even learning how to mix mostly taught in his early years by Mike Brown AKA Infinite Void. Eventually he started to master mixing and juggle routines for which he continued on his trek to satisfy any listener with a different and unique sound. After entering countless battles at the rookie level he began to develop his own style of tablism. He eventually learned more difficult routines on his own and with the help of fellow tablist such as Immortal, Shotgun, Klever, and various other talents in the Southeast. His level of skill certainly over time matured into a much more powerful force which led to many wins at local, regional and national battles in the USA. Coming off of his 3rd win defending his tittle yet again at CLUB LAVELA "the biggest night club in the USA" prolific has show his tablist skills are polished and ready for anyone in his way. His newest project is the NONSTOPKROOKS. After years of keeping his mouth shut he has decided to unsheath the mic and regain his respect as an Urban Action figure. The NONSTOPKROOKS future album features the likes of Goretex and Sabac Red Formerly of Nonphixion, Crayz Walz, Copywrite, Butta Verses of de la soul, Critical Madness, and Big Lo to name a few so at any given time you can get exposed to the message.
Prolific is also the CEO of FOULPLAYRECORDS/NONSTOPKROOKS which releases DNB vinyl, Battle Breaks, High Energy mix cd’s and every thing in between. After years of competing at high level battles and rocking huge crowds all over the U.S. You know any of his sets are not to be missed! He is endorsed by Rane, Urban Dwellars clothing, ILLSTAR REBEL, Durte Vintage Laundry, BBOYWORLD.COM, Hiphopelements, and Madclout. He has worked for scratch academy, BET, and various other major corporations which prove his talents and dedication to staying on top with his DJ skills, business demeanor, and lots of hard work for love of music hiphop and everything that is real.
Now his mission has become a reality, making FOULPLAYRECORDS a known name in the DNB/TABLIST/HIPHOP community.
