Yeahh that thing is used a lot by hiphop producers, great little machine.
Still I prefer working on an MPC, but still wouldn't mind getting one of these for free.

out of interest, whats the difference to you? in my limited experience of mpc's, this looks almost identical except it aint from yesteryear and doesnt use one of them zip drives?

i know ibunshi uses an mpc for his stuff. says it frees up the breain.

well an MPC is an actual hardware drum computer / sampler, while the Maschine is just a software package with a MIDI controller to give it hardware 'feeling'.
Still a big difference in that though.

I still think Maschine is great, good for all kinds of stuff. But an MPC is great too!

the mpc has a function called crunch. its bleeding amazing, i think its downsampling but it sounds fantastic

i was thinking about getting Maschine but ended up copping an MPC 1000 instead

i like portability of the mpc, i.e. you dont need a computer to use it with, unlike Maschine......
