dark, I like it, and I can tell you're going for a minimalist style for the intro, but i would still have some sort of distant reverb effects or something to fill the spaces at the beginning where it's just a high hat to keep the flow. I really like the sound design, but imo there's too much stereo imaging on the main bass, I think this takes away the punch, i would usually layer a bass and have the main sound more mono with a seperate layer giving a bit of stereo in the background. or like automate the imaging.
