making sliding bass?

does anybody know how to make sliding bass noises? Wot i really mean is making basslines that sound like they are played with the pitch bend wheel if u know wot i mean?

Well strangely enough you slide the pitch.
Do it however you can, or are you looking for help finding the pitch slide function in your sequencer / synth?

portamento could also be used but that would be slightly less dynamic unless you automated the portamento time

u can also use progs like wavelab to create "sliding bass".Use the pitch bend feature.draw in a lovely shape.bam!!also good for long winding rising sounds.
then resample back into your host.

hmm, bit of a hazzle maybe. Just doing it in your own sequencer would be the easiest.
