making rolls and shuffles and share what u got

can anybody give me some ideas about ways to make rolls and shuffles....
some examples as follows... or are a lot of them taken from original breaks. whats the deal

Most of the time they're breaks that have been chopped up with effects on them to change the sound or in some cases just the sample with no extra stuff.
Despite what a lot of dickheads on the net will say it's OK to use a sampled break if it sounds good. You can use individual shakers and drums with different pitches and volumes to get that sound but it's easier and often sounds better to nick one. If you want acoustic then you might as well sample it then you've not got an imitation, you've got the real thing. having said that if you can make acoustic sounding drums then you're pretty damn good at programming

yeah i figured as much.. cause its almost impossible to get the beat to roll like that unless you re playing drums.... cheers. thanks for the info
