I'm having some problems creating a good drum roll...
For example during the 8th bar but leading into the 9th bar a drum roll would be used.
I'm using a standard drum and pass drum pattern with a kick on 1 and 11 and a snare on 5 and 13. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas or techniques which could be used to make my drum roll bar sound more professional or just better. I've tried adding in a bunch of kicks and snares of different combinations but haven't really had success with this. Maybe a "beat repeat" effect should be used? Im stuck.......
