not sure if this should be posted here but its only a quick question
just brought 1 of these makckies and was wondering if i can use just the 1 speaker with my mixer? as i have an xlr output for the master left and right but if i just connect the speaker to one side im only gonna be able to hear 1 deck right?
mixer is a urei 1601e by the way.

why did you only buy one speaker??

anyway, na.... you will hear both decks.... but only the left channel (stereo is two channels, L + R.... you will only hear one

if you only have the one speaker, id personally advise on finding some way to combine the left and right into mono.... but thats just me.... most dnb is fairly monoish anyway, you hardly hear anything hardpanned so you will probably be alright

im not made of money bro thats why i got one
i got a mono switch on mixer will give it a shot safe anyway

mate, none of us are made of money..... but two speakers are a must as far as im concerned..... i mean you could have got a pair of pretty good speakers for the price of the one mackie

but then again.... im a producer.... for djing, stereo isnt that important, and tbh, ive had plenty of mono dj setups over the years so just ignore me lol

anyway yeah, hit the mono button, you will get the L+R through the one speaker
