I have a Mac Mini G4 - 1.25ghz PowerPC with 1 Gb Ram
Should I get Logic 7 or Logic 8?
No way to find out which will work better on my system
Any mac users out there? with any advice?

no way dude, you CAN NOT run any version of logic on a mac mini. trust

You are talking about Logic Pro?

well, yea. but running logic pro on a mac mini with those specs could single handily end civilization as we know it

You can run it, just what version, 7 or 8

i wouldn't worry about the version too much, both are processor hungry. can you update the RAM in the mini? that's what i would suggest...

But Logic Express isn't that processor hungry.

@Mango: You won't have fun with 1.25ghz PowerPC with 1 Gb Ram

Yu need 2 GB Ram minimum to work flawless

yeah, i plan to upgrade but i am only about 1 year back into production. once i bought my computer, logic studio seemed a bit expensive, so i just got express. express does all the dirty bits just fine.

Yeah well it has been upgraded to the max, lol
i just thought logic 7 came out before my mac so It should run ok
Min requirements for 8 match my mac.
Some people say they can run 8 no problem on it
Others dont.
There are no demos which sucks.

It was a bargain for 50 quid!!!!
1gb ram cost 25 quid!!!
75 quid for a taste of the high life
