does anyone know how to open a .exe file on a mac? Is there any program to use that'll do the job

its only 1 little file i need to open, ive tried using crossover which is suppose to open it but when you click on it it does nothing. any ideas?

Teddys bang on, without sorting out dual boot it wont work, Macs dont run .exe files.

i didnt want to install any windows on my mac, according to this you can install windows files without installing windows http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/ theres the link, it trys to do something with the file but then it just gives up. am i missing something here

I wouldnt bother with it to be honest, looks like a bit of a bodge to me, what is it you want to install exactly?

its for a keygen but i dont think i can put much more down about it on here cos it may be against the rules, not to sure though.

Get Parallels and then run a virtual machine, install windows, then you can run exes without having to reboot and worrying about it

just download ^ that program its free and it extracts rar's just like on a PC

he never asked about unpacking anything, which mac will do anyways. he asked about opening an .exe which is a windows executable file and cannot be opened on a mac.

dont fuck up your mac with windows man, take it to your friends house and do it there.
