ez all, so i bought meself an m-audio omnistudio USB last week at a discount price. "Fantastic" i thought, a quality multiout soundcard/ interface that can only beat my old Edirol
anyway, i have installed it on my P4 512MB RAM, 120GB HD, PC running XP PRO but when i start up cubase sx2 with reason rewire the sound cuts out after while
I have fiddled with the latency-no problems
I have reinstalled drivers- funnily enough when i turn the interface on a little pop up appears saying there has been a malfunction with the device..but when i check the device manager it says device is working fine
is this a driver problem? i'am convinced that it is not my computer because i upgraded the entire system a month ago.
If its the omnistudio i will not be impressed..........
another thing...everytime i start cubase sx2 a pop up tells me that the sample rate has been changed to 44.1Khz
but it has always been at this sample rate
