I can get a M-Audio Axiom 61 MIDI Keyboard for 50 squids would this be a decent intrestment or should i spend my money elsewhere?

Yeah, check out every knob, pad, fader and key before you buy it, check for stickyness, laggyness, any inconsistencies at all.
