Making a welcome return to Soul:R, Lynx's "Balloons" and "Passing Time" are two tunes filled to the brim with the musical character and intensity which is perfectly at home on Soul:R. Lynx demonstrates the passion and knowledge he has built up from over 10 years producing. Both tracks have been a feature in the sets of names like Calibre, Intalex and many more for a few months. A fitting end to what has been a great year for Soul:R.

Top release, Soul:R is such a good label it's a shame they don't release more often. I suppose it makes it better when they do release something though.

Obviousely 2 releases in 2 weeks is a lot but for the rest of the year there hasn't been that much besides the DRS album and 2 Marcus Intalex 12". Maybe I'm being greedy....
 
Not too sure about baloons.. sounds like a childs nursery rhyme! Lynx is up there as one of my favourite producers though. love the flip

Yeah to be fair it's not a massive amount I suppose. They have been busy as a collective though...
 
Ballons is dope, that melody on the intro is catchy as fuck. I think it could be remixed using that melody with a tougher drop and it could be pretty sick.
 
Not feeling that pitch raise on the bass in Balloons! getting the vinyl monday for Passing Time tho.....Balloons might grow on me?
 
just listened to balloons absolutely smashed and can.. WTF, Lynx must have been on something writing that track lolol! My head is spinning so much!!!
 
Balloons is a really funky tune, something about it sounds shit but the production quality is really really good, as per with Lynx. Really fun track.
Passing time is wicked as well, bagged the other day
 
Balloons is a wicked tune, play it with Ship Shape by N3GUS for maximum clown effect :teeth: Love Passing Time, don't have many tunes to play it with, but it's a great tune, opened with it on Saturday night, that few people who were already there were loving it :)
