I have a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

The only thing that really sounds missing to me is some way you can signal phrasing. An fx, lack of drums, tension builder, anything really that says this is the end of 16 or 32 bars.

Great advice i neglect that a lot and try to make tracks feel progressive.

I need to get a bit deeper and sort that kind of thing out quick.

it's probably nothing you want to hear as we are in different genres and i have no clue about your style/genre .. i would add some melodic riser, a synth arp melody or possibly a vocal phrase. not sure if i would add a sweet flowing or a hacked-into-pieces one. just something to fill out a few spaces. but it probably would change the overall atmo of your track which you surely wouldn't want to happen.

Nah man all help appreciated i always feel anything goes with minimal tbh ill try all 3... Maybe re sample a pad into a riser for one phrase try a pitched down arp and i think a vocal would suit this. Cheers man!
