After a scorching weekend, I'm at work on Monday morning and the humidity is pretty heavyweight, even with my lame ass fan on mach 2 (saving mach 3 for later in the day).

The weekend was nice though, my face, legs and arms are a little red from being out in the sun, but I guess that's the price you pay for not wearing suntan lotion.

What's the weather like where you are? :typing:

Today in Nanjing, it was 36 degrees and rising, which is a bit warm. And it supposed to get up to around 38/40 degrees in august, which is a bit scary as i'm a bit blueskinned. Time to rock the sunfactor 45 methinks.

What humidity? You live in Portsmouth, in England. Count yourself lucky mate. Here its so humid, the water in the air heats up like a bitch, you practically have to swim through it when walking. You know when you first open up the door of an oven, and that wave of heat hits you in the face? Like that.

Beer + humidity + sleep = You feel like a rat took a shite in your mouth when you wake up.

Still better than not sleeping :)

Weather here is almost great. Sun, cool but warm enough to drive my targa...

    Hehehehehehe.

BTW Humidity + heat -> worst weather IMO. I much prefer cold, rain, snow anything to humidity.

Oooh I hope there's gonna be a thunderstorm tonight cause I've got an exam tomorrow at 1, (like, the hottest part of the day!)

Prefer the snow to heat, slapped on the spf 30 like everyday and still got sunburnt and freckly lol damn ginger hair and see-through skin!

Granted it might be less than what you're experiencing, it's pretty humid for England and I'm not a fan of it, especially when trying to sleep! Although I've found taking a cold shower minutes before bed helps a great deal.

Also, I've felt a very humid atmosphere, Orlando, Florida during July / August is pretty bad in terms of the 'oven door' factor.

thats the most common missconception people have about Hellas...
In winter it often goes bellow zero, even in downtown Athens, and thats fu#@ing cold man..
Plus, we only got two seasons now, november till april winter, may till october summer..
honestly, is asif the big boss just flicks a switch up, and from -3 goes to +30...
well, that is if you think that said switch takes about a month to move position..

So, no more of that racist Greece-is-a-hot-place-all-year-round malarky..
    fharisto..

    racist ?

Wouldn't call it that... more like a stupid stereotype.

Some stupid bastards think Poland is at the North Pole and that we have polar bears.

BTW Below zero is warm... 20 below is cold :)
