Was at Brixton Academy last year for the 1nation Carnival Afterparty - wasn't that impressed with the venue to be honest - main room was ok, but the other rooms suffered from not actually seeming to be rooms, more like corridors with sound systems in.

My current London favorite club is Heaven - went there for Hospitality in November - and was blown away ny the sound system in there - had my insides shacking with the bass so much - best I've heard in a while + the venue was v nice - main room big tunnel. Going back next month for next big Hospitality event - can't wait - was amazing last time!

SE-One Mate. Academy to big, not dirty or sweaty enough. The system is heavy but...............
SE-One has gotta be my favourite, seriously grimey area, raw, dirty club. Reflects in the music "Homeboy". Either there or the Coronet in Elephant and castle. Or the Skala. Sounds to me like yetie needs to come out to other ends some more and see how its done.

If fabric wasn't so fucking rammed you can't move it'd be one of the best, the system in there is sick.

Haven't been to Brixton Academy yet so no comment on that. Egg was also pretty nice but when I went the sound was too quiet. The mad outdoor bit with the astroturf spun me out.

I like the smaller nights these days so herbal has to get a mention cos there's always nice events there and the system is loud enough.

I also thought the sound in the academy was terrible - wasn't actually last carvial I went, but was one before that - maybe it's good as a live music venue, but it didn't come off well as rave venue at all.

I've been waiting many a time outside of The Cross - in the massive queues for Bagleys events in days gone by, people going into The Cross looked slightly better than the crusty's sat in the queue with me.

Used to enjoy Bagleys as a venue on occasions - just that the place always ended up looking scummy and a right state in there by the end of the nite. Many a happy time there tho ;)
