fairly new to the whole production thing...ive got a mac and i was just wondering if i was to buy the whole logic studio package, would that be all i needed to make tunes, or is other stuff required/recommended? cheers

dude logic has more than enough to get you started and keep you busy for a long time. but you'll definitely want to invest in more shit down the road. but yea, i have a lot of other software but i still find myself mainly using the stuff bundled with logic.
