Just found this, very good tutorial and walkthrough of the compressor in Logic Pro 9, half an hour long but it's very thorough.

yeah standard, but it's definitely worth a watch to find out more about this specific plugin

yeh totally agree.. I do find this plug the best for sidechaining. Havent found anything that really comes close.
