comes with out the keygen dongle serial thing....so its like they went form not one possible way to crack...to being able to crack in big numbers...did apple make a mistake?


i for one am looking forward to getting my copy :jackson:

nah, apple brought out the company that made logic after they released version 5 and it is now exclusive to mac, the only reason i got my mac was so i could get logic 8
 
yea, what im saying is that the ware used to be very secure to people sharing copies. Allowing a lock USB device to be in the slot to even launch the program. Now, no more key, just a serial. So what im saying is anyone can get it now...feel me
 
yeah, i read something about this on another forum.... theres a rumor going about that apple WANT logic to be cracked...... why???...... well, because logic is now so widely available for free, theres tons of people buying macs so they can use it

i dont know how true this is, make up your own minds


oh and yeah, last ever version of logic for PC was v5.5.1...... when it was made by eMagic
 
yea only problem is its just basically the shell...all the stock samples and such come with the bundle...Logic Studio...Pro being one of the wares

i installed it fine...althought 6 of the stock pluggins would not install

Leopard ;) And yes, to an extent (in that it's illegal because it's made by editing files in the OS). It's called OSX86 and there are various different builds. If you look up the Wiki page on it you will find some decent guides etc on how to get it running.

P.S. Logic = the shit!
 
I was going to get Logic 8 when I went to get my macbook fixed in an apple store in kingston... but then I saw it's price...

love that place..i goto the one in kingston aswell....theres a sexy mac g5 package i think it is..which includes loads of software and a 32inch monitor...it was like 4grand though....i want it baaaad

u can get a miny mac...i think they still have them? if u were to run a mac os on a pc. it would be shite. i have endless comparison. but yagetme

they dont sell just Logic now...u get the whole bundle (logic studio). or maybe u went before 8 dropped
