Finished my first Drumstep Tune. Please tell me your opinions
Haha I like the vocal sample -- good pre-drop.
The beat itself is good for drumstep, too. Personally, I'm not huge on the "yeah" sound (I feel like it's getting overused, but that's me). I feel like I tell this to everyone doing heavy tracks, but maybe think about a neurofunk (like Noisia) influenced bass to throw in there, too.
Another thing: Have you ever listened to Rollz? Listen to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfD_2NyO36M
I think you could implement some sub drops every 8 bars or so, if you didn't want a straight up constant note playing sub -- the track needs some sort of sub to fill the low end in.
Thanks for the review!
Yeah i thought about changing the sub too, it sounds too boring. Cool idea with the sub drops, will think about it
Thanks for the help!
big sounds!! nice work! agree on addin sum little drops on the end of phrases, will def help to keep the energy up, still tho, sum serious work gone into that, bigup!
Not really feeling the bassline because of it's sound, but on the technical way, it sounds good. Drums are well and nice intro!
HEAVY ! I love the drop man ! Very Nice tracks !
Maybe you can work a little on the bass sound, just my opinion
Thanks for your opinions!
