I've been getting into the darker ram Bassline kind of music like Loadstar - Hit The Ground and Camo & Krooked - Portal!

How exactly do I go about making these basses? I sometimes hear something reese-like in there but most of the time I really have no clue whatsoever on how this is built up. If anybody could help me, that would be really cool!
