This will be seriously interesting to see when it happens at Cable on November 2nd!
I have yet to see one of these "live" drum & bass acts that was at all necessary. If anything it diminishes the quality of the set in my opinion as they tend to loop through the same 15 songs that have been out for years and play them with a few tweaks. I would rather hear an upfront set of new material that is meticulously mixed.
Most of these dnb 'live shows' are nothing but regular dj sets with a flashy light show
I expect this will be the same
probably not as its at cable. 98% of this stuff is pointless, assuming loadstars will be too.
any actual instruments in this "live" act? l0l
Yeah but "Live" acts are usually miles away, that can't happen at Cable. So the atmosphere is going to be nuts!
It's just gonna be Loadstar pressing the space bar and then fiddling with their knobs for an hour
So live now means using ableton and midi controllers.. That's not live, well it's live editing of tracks, that's it
We will have to wait and see how 'Live' it is.
One things for sure it will be a mental night with Culture Shock, Mind Vortex, Total Science, Mattix + Futile and a whole range of others in support!
Lomax on the drums. Xample on the laptop checking his emails
Amit live was pretty good in terms of one of those 'Live' performances. Unless some mind blowing craziness goes on, decks and a mixer will suffice.
Subfocus guest appearance on Jazz flute.
Wearing the finest suits that make Frank Sinatra look like a hobo
got a link to the night?
Wanna check the event.
This thread is actually a good way spamming. Well done
Here is the link to the event and if Sub Focus comes down in a suit with his flute, we won't complain too much!
Should be an interesting night wish i could go!
Looking forward to it regardless, can't remember when I saw Loadstar Live at Cable, think it was a Metalheadz a while back?
loadstar have been performing as loadstar live for ages now...i saw them and couldnt notice anything different
yeah their first 'live' act was at nass, been elsewhere since.
They pushed it all back, they didn't get their Live Show set up in time.
Look at the Nass Line up - http://www.nassfestival.com/lineup
Hence we are their first 'Live' show.
