Lo-fi, boomy drone samples.

Cleaning up some directories, I found an abundance of un-used, lo-fi drones and distorted inharmonic pads. Picked a few of the strongest, re-eq'd them, and normalized them all to -24db. Plenty of versatility in these like puzzle pieces to fit into the mix (or just properly make bad mix decisions which is fun too).

really cool tune,i love the little glitches in the beat.
im not sure what DAW you use but have you ever tried time-stretching sounds to get atmospheres. you can get some relay interesting drawn out drones from simple sounds.
it is especially easy to do in ableton.

Cheers Ben, I think you clicked my signature. Sorry about the link confusion. :oops: Some of the drones I tossed up are using time-stretching to get a bit more complexity/movement in the higher range usually followed by convolution with noise to tame the artifacts. :)
