I'm not that sure about Liverpool (although I have heard of Hospitalities at Chibuku) but you're a fairly short train ride to Chester. Check out a place called the Frog and Nightingale right on the canal. Not the biggest venue but over the last few years they've had Hype, Goldie, S.P.Y..

There hasn't been any drum and bass nights recently as it been closed for the past few months with rumours of a refurbishment and management problems, but its recently reopened so worth keeping and eye out for anything D'n'B related.

I swear only Viper is stocked in any of the record shops in Liverpool...that one off Broad Street anyway, like 4 bits of drum and bass in total...

^^^3 beat is fucking shite...i am from liverpool ,check,nwdnb.co.uk for nights...chibuku is one of the bigger nights, evermonth has a massive headliner, but loads and loads of dirty grimey smaller nights are all over...like i said check www.nwdnb.co.uk for listings.
