Quick question for Promoters, Engineers, MCs, DJs or anyone else who may be able to confirm my theory....

Most gigs over here mix the mics like shit, I believe its an easy fix, and think I'm pretty sure I know how you guys do it over there.

Do you not send the mic signal to their own set of speakers or own sound, so that the mic doesn't have to compete in the mix with tracks (because especially with live DnB, your already pushing the boundries on most frequencies, so fitting anything else in the mix is almost impossible) this way you can mix the microphone speakers versus the main sound speakers, and find a happy medium in the room w/ out taking any sonic room from the dj and his mix?
