I'm quite late to the party with regards to this sample pack.

I feel robbed in that I didn't even know he had a sample pack available! Well worth the price of admission IMO.

When this pack came out, I was hoping to hear more dnb with natural drums crop up. Especially mixed with the sparseness of minimal, I imagined a very nice aesthetic. Hasn't seemed to happen yet...

I'd love to use organic drum sounds although I don't really own any high quality acoustic drum samples. I need to get some packs!

Quick review: great pack. The hits add a nice bit if organic punch. Chopping up his breaks lends itself well to capturing subtle ghost hits and very small accents that can really enhance your kit. The crashes are decent, hi hats are on point. Lots of headroom for further mangling.

Yeah headroom is really important IMO. Most people are going to layer then add dynamics processing. Then when the track is mastered its going to have more dynamics processing applied.
