Needs a middle 8 section, where it goes quiet for another drop.

Thats your first tune?! Thats cool for a first tune mate.. Snares are a little high in the frequency.. make em a bit more fat sounding.. Its pretty ace though.

Can you explain middle 8 section? if its long dont worry. would be cool to know tho. and thanks for the advice on the snare, i think ill add more reverb to one of them and try and get a lower crunch rather than an ear peircing high.

Middle 8 section is where it goes back to the intro state in the middle of the song or a new section in the middle where it builds up and drops again.

Almost all DnB tracks have it.. give any song a listen and in the middle it'll calm down a bit and build up and drop again..
Very important when pressed and released. Dj's use the mid 8 sections to bring in the next track sometime. I do anyway.

jump up wins. big tune, the snare is too loud over the track though mate and i'd want better breaks in there that hi pass shuffley thing. another thing i've noticed is the arrangement of the bars after the chorus is good you've mixed it up in there i like it.

    Intro is lacking

is pretty grimey, but nothing that would really set it apart from anything else thats been released

Drums could do with some more layers imo and just needs a general tidy round i think

thanks, your comments go a long way. think i might take a break from this one for a while.
i think your right about the tidy up, that was my first attempt at a middle 8 and i think i fucked it up a bit.
but yea when i get back to it, ima stick some more high end into my beats, sort out the levels, and try to get more of a clean rythem going between my bk ground noises...

Im in the prosses of making some Drum and Bass step :)
random sound, but working well so far, and not getting to full up with shit.
