LIQUID SESSIONS

Liquid Sessions aims to bring you the very best in Liquid dnb with the very best dj's and the very best in up and coming talent.

On the night, points will be made and rolling soulful vibes will be dropped to the delight of every person who graces the PST, on the 13th May! Liquid Sessions and the DJ's for this event are representing some of the best record labels the liquid and deep drum & bass scene has to offer in the UK so expect a full scale assault of your mind, body and soul.

If you have been to a Liquid Sessions night then you'll know what to expect, but if for some reason you haven't then you can expect a night of great people great vibes and above all great music, covering all angles of liquid dnb.

We are very pleased to bring you dj's from the V Recordings camp.

Few record labels can claim to have changed the face of their respective scene. However, V Recordings, started in 1993 by Bryan G and Jumping Jack Frost, V Recordings, can confidently say that they have done just that.

From their they began to work with a selection of the scene’s freshest talent, including Dillinja, Lemon D and Ray Keith, and with their help unleashed the ‘V Classic’ and ‘Planet V’ LPs, two immense compilations which cemented their reputation as one of the leading independent record labels around.

In the last few years V Recordings hasn’t slowed down either, concentrating hard on their sub-labels Liquid V and Chronic and continued to bring through some of the best talent in the game; including artists like Artificial Intelligence, Cabbie and Utah Jazz.

With an eye on the future, V will continue to bring through some of the most versatile producers the underground scene has to offer and, in a scene where too many labels fall by the wayside, it’s inspiring to see one with so much history and with so much to offer the future.

BLACK DROP

Black Drop was formed in 2011 and is the sister night of Liquid Sessions. The concept around Black Drop, is to bring the more Steppy/Techy/Deeper vibe of the Drum n Bass spectrum.
You could call it a Jekyll & Hyde syndrome as Liquid Sessions brings the soulful jazzy vocal vibes and Black Drop brings out the harder more cutting edge side.

Need For Mirrors: These boys have been around for sometime, otherwise known as Mosus & Hlz these pair don`t need any introduction, as they are creating music, in their own words, draws from all their electronic music influences and reflects them back, with releases already on and set for on Shogun/V Recordings/Nu-Direction/Samurai/Project 51/31 Recs/Footprints plus more.....

Basher & Xtrah London based Basher is rapidly building up his status as one of the most technically advanced producers to hit the scene in recent years, as for fellow Londoner Xtrah, his tunes are gaining Heavy support from the likes of Andy C Friction Calyx & Teebee, 2011 is gonna be a massive year for them both aswell with releases forthcoming on Teebee`s Subtitles label aswell as Basher having an LP forthcoming on Ram which will be due out later this year.
