As we start a new year the good folks at Ten Tons Deeper feel it’s time to start introducing new artists to the ever growing drum and bass scene. This is keeping in with the ethos of both Ten Ton labels of establishing new talent to add to this scene of ours helping it grow and flourish.
Identical is an Essex based producer who leans more to the liquid side of things but also likes to indulge himself with a cheeky dark roller every now and then, ‘Mesonoxian Dance’ is exactly that. Make no mistake this is an extremely weighty single with subtle differences to each mix, well crafted and an intricate attention to detail throughout.
Identical has already had major airplay on BBC radio Suffolk as part of their introducing project, this is amazing work for someone who hasn’t been producing drum and bass for that long. This single is a teaser to what this extremely talented producer has in store with his exclusive signing to Ten Tons Deeper. There is a follow up 4-5track EP already being written which will give his ever growing fan base more of an insight in to the mind of this new talent.
This signing is only one of many that have been made over the last 6 months, Ten Tons Deeper has been steadily releasing Liquid and darker tracks for just under 2 years now and head honcho Rekless feels is the time to really start making some waves now this sister label to Ten Ton Beats is established. Expect more quality drum and bass by new emerging artists, the artists that will help to sculpt the future of our drum and bass scene.
