I am a huge fan of this sub-genre, i can recommend a few:

Calibre - He is the don, for real!
    Commix
    Marcus Intalex
    Redeyes
    D.Bridge
    Survival
    Zero Tolerance
    Beta 2
    Mathematics
    Zyon Base
    Autumn

That outta get you started. You will find lots of labels that are in the vein as well, but if you follow these artists you can find the labels.

:ditto: the 2 posts above, pretty much got everything covered there.

Calibre is still the frontrunner is my opinion though!

Yeah that is a wicked tune...i think i got it in one of my mixes on here somewhere...

He does a bit of hip hop stuff as well over in the US i think, its all very nice, not sure iof any is released though.

Im really into his label 'Westbay' ....I work with the guy who helps him run it. Its really good liquid funk...the new tune 'Blood Rain' by Spectrasoul his heavy on that label...
