DrumsFromAbove - Learning The Ropes (Funky Oldschool)

Hi! This is my second track. I tried to do something I usually don`t; to make my own breakbeat, which went pretty well in my opinion.
It sounds kind of oldschool because of the vibes in it. I hope it catches your interest!

The sub is really nice a thumpy. The drums have a good rhythm, but seem a bit weak in the mix. I like the piano, but it does eventually feel repetitive—maybe you could have a break out section where it plays scales or arps or something. The voice that comes in at about 1:35 is too faint, and should be turned up.

I'm not sure the direction you want to take the track, structurally. I think I made out a breakdown section, but it wasn't very obvious. As it is, the song keeps just going on, repeating the same phrases over and over, with that extra, faint, voice coming in every once in awhile (I think 3:00 is when it came back in).

You've got an interesting beginning, but I think you need to grow the track in just about every aspect. It needs more of a structure, and could stand to have new/extra voices in it. Still, it is an interesting start.

Definitely could use with more volume and punchy drums (Not too punchy of course as not to ruin the vibe you're going with).
    At least that's what I'd change : ).
