Learning chords over your bass

Hi,

Im after some help on playing chords over the bass line keys i lay down but am not musically trained.
I don't want to learn how to play the piano as such but, to be able to know what 1- 5 notes i can play at a time in key with my bass line. I know some basic but not enough to step it up a level.

Maybe there's someone that can give me a few lessons to direct me or video tutorials ( have tried many but not found them useful to what im after)

Any help would be good

y dont you put a few chords down and then put a bassline under it, that might give u a good idea how it works????
