KOAN Sound Warehouse Party
Thursday 28th March
Crucifix Lane Warehouse, SE1 3JW
10pm – 6am
LWE are pleased to announce KOAN Sound as headliners for a warehouse session at one of London’s most trusted party spaces.
Coming out of their vibrant hometown of Bristol the duo have taken in many inspirations from the city’s diverse musical landscape. Bursting onto the scene as hotly tipped Dubstep producers the pair have named Rage Against The Machine, Incubus and Prodigy as early influences. The combination of funky basslines and catchy melodies makes the sound they are best known for equally accessible to the dance floor whilst still maintaining enough musicality for the home-listener. Despite having a very current feel to their productions, you will struggle to find a producer within this sphere of the genre as distinct as KOAN Sound.
The Bristolians are also getting noticed across the globe with recent shows in South Africa and India, showing just how far this duo have come. Masters of their own sound they have carefully crafted a balance, and blended the sound between hip-hop, rock and dubstep influenced noises, whilst keeping a melodic and upbeat feel. Heavily supported by the likes of Skrillex, it is easy to recognize why they have become one of the most talked about names in bass music.
Tickets are priced at £10-£15
Tickets on sale Wednesday at 10am
