Rolling onwards into April (and with it, a regular monthly slot at The Russian), COLONY is all good to go for another night of dark and bumping dancefloor shenanigans. Three increasingly pervasive talents have been drafted in for the occasion, covering between them the joined up worlds of dubstep, techno and electro(nica), so do yourselves a favour and get involved!

Topping the bill is the mighty Untold, a man responsible for some of 2008's finest dub-minded transmissions via his impeccably programmed Hemlock imprint. Operating somewhere in the vicinity of skippety garage, smoked-out half step and tribal IDM, you'd be hard pressed to find a more singular producer around right now, and with a handful of bombs-in-the-waiting for the likes of Hotflush, Hessle Audio and (of course) Hemlock, things are looking pretty decent for the year ahead. Needless to say we're chuffed to be hosting him. Further main room entertainment comes courtesy of Tom Lennox, a man with a very big record bag and an ever-expanding catalogue of deep, grooving productions for labels like Influential House, Endemic Digital and Berlin's excellent 3rd Wave Music. A regular on the London party circuit, he knows a thing or two (or three) about top notch house and techno, which is exactly why he's onboard. Live set duties fall to Dorset-based Greg Scrase, an emerging figure in the UK's bustling electro/glitch/IDM scene. Hot on the heels of a flurry of recent releases - finding favour with breakbeat kingpin Radioactive Man, amongst others - he'll be delivering a bass-heavy selection of out-there beats and bleeps for your aural pleasure. Lovely.

Support, as ever, comes from COLONY stalwarts MB and CB, joining the musical dots with generous lashings of dubstep, drum n bass and whatever else seems appropriate (or otherwise). Darkin's back in full control of the visuals, whilst down in the basement, Macphellimey, Bitbasic and friends resume their genre-busting, era-spanning vinyl vs. monome activities.

That's about the gist of it. See you there!
