Hi all!
I'm a new producer who spends far too much time tinkering with tracks (like all of us?) and therefore decided to challenge myself to a one day bootleg - I decided to remix Latch by Disclosure.
Although I personally feel this is pretty weak :)(!), I actually learnt a lot from producing this track!
Regardless, I shall leave this track be (as a principle) though I would love some critique that i can use for forthcoming productions.

I actually like this a lot. The only thing I really dislike is the four on the floor beat during the buildup. I've never been a fan of using a four on the floor type beat in DnB, but it can be done. If you could figure out a way to kind of give it a House-like pumping feel to it (maybe just a peak controller running off the kick to duck the sample down a bit) then maybe it would work.

I agree totally with the pumping idea - I hadn't thought of that at all! Maybe I'll re-open the project ;)
