I need to get myself a new laptop, it needs to be able to run traktor & ableton etc. my budget is £500 and ive spent the last 3 days starring blankly at all these laptops and i have no idea which one would be best. Any reccomendations for best value for money, and before anyone says it, i have no interest in getting a mac lol not that i could for £500 anyways lol.

    Cheers in advance

    specifications:

    Intel i5 or i7 Dualcore processor 2.6 - 3ghz
    4 - 8GB ram
15.4 inch screen min, 17inch better althogh they tend to be allot heavier
external 7200RPM drive - vital for audio
usb audio interface eg. Traktor audio dj2

Basicly get as much as you can for your money, the higher the better, but definitly nothing lower than what is above, I use an off the shelf HP, which was mid-way between the specs above for ~£440 its been great so far

also if possible find one with dedicated rather than shared video memory, shared video memory means less available for programs
