    It's not dubstep man, its more like hip hop as its around 87bpm, so you can still mix dnb with it

    People do need to realise this

    Just coz a beat sounds slower than the standard drum and bass 174ish bpm it does NOT automatically mean its dubstep!

    Dubstep = around 140bpm

    Drum & Bass at half tempo = around 87bpm

    Big difference!

    The only reason Im gettin ratty about this is coz Ive made a tune at 87bpm and everyone I play it to keeps saying ah its dubstep yeah?! NO NO NO NO NO! Its just half tempo drum and bass! Rant over.

    just to clarify - i'm not a retard, i produce and i know alot about tempo's of genres but ladies night has a dubstep style breakdown. there is no way you can tell me that the breakdown sounds like hip-hop.

    dubstep is half the time of breakbeat

    na it sounds like half time dnb like the quarks tune thats halftime dnb but dont sound like hip hop an its not dubstep although it has a dubstep part

    na its 140 but dubstep is 140 but i meant the beat as its half time wich is 70
    ive made sum dubstep at 70 before

    no idea mate. they pretty different to me. i tend to stick to my dnb/dnb ratio :)
