Hey hey.

Just thought I'd throw this here for some critique. Aside from my drum and bass projects and other stuff I do, I am part of a collective group called the Dead Noise System. We specialise in real underground dark deep dubstep (not your high pitched screeches or wobbles). Anyway, this is one thats just been finished.

Haha nah but on a serious note bro this tune is dark but heavy at the same time! This one is packing the bass weight for sure too, how many of you doing this? :)

There's 6 of us in the group, but 2 of them only DJ, 1 is a DJ / Producer and the other 3 of us are all about the production. We play every sunday between 5 - 7 on dubstep fm so it's a good way to play out our dubs too.

Ahhh thats brilliant mate! :) I will be certain to tune in next sunday if I am able too :) But yeah i dig it if there is more to come!
 
It's pretty cool fletch. Did you produce most of this song? It sounds like a tamed down version of one of your songs. Wheres the link to dubstep fm? Or is it a real radio station? Any way thanks for the hook up!
 
The mid range has a nice tone to it. In some of your earlier stuff I wasn't too fond of the manic panning on the hats etc and lots of fast stabby bass everywhere, and I much prefer how you've gone about this track which sounds really good (my taste)
Solid effort.
 
If this is dubstep, then i need to go find some more. I just thought it was that drill to the cranium stuff I have heard and can do with out.

That was some nice bass funk going on there. Deep and groovin!

No mate, that shit you speak of is commercial dubstep (or Complextro). Theres some real deep dubstep out there you can find if you search hard enough
 
Hate genres wars but lets start one anyways

Commercial dubstep is different to Complextro, Complextro is 'Complex' Electro House so its more the 120 - 130 four four beat stuff. Commecial dubstep is just straight up fucking bollocks now, I have no idea what happened to the genre.

That may have sounded like a dickish comment, no intention there! Just am bored and am browsing hopelessly :lol:

Anyways Tweky if you are digging Fletch's tune its the dungeony stuff you are after, check out artists like District, Sleeper, Distance (basically the whole Chestplate crew) :) There is also a good underground producer called Toki who you might dig!
 
This is sounding great! Really like the drumwork that has been done in this track. Bass is nice altho I think it could do with some more variation than it already has.

Not my usual cup of tea but I enjoyed the track. :)
