What better way to kick off matter’s Summer Specials season than with the pure sunshine hip-hop vibes of venerable DJs Cash Money and Format, who have been specially selected for this night specially curated by our favourite breaks hero Krafty Kuts.
Krafty will be asking you to pull up a groove and get fresh with crate-digger extraordinaire DJ Format – who’s built up a devoted fanbase ever since he emerged on the scene in 2003, collaborating with Abdominal and Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 on two artist albums and crafting four fantastic DJ compilations including his 2006 FabricLive mix. He’ll be joined by Philly’s turntable hero Cash Money, best known for monster old school tracks such as ‘Who’s In The Place’ with MC Marvelous, and still rocking parties around the world after over 20 years in the game.
Joining them in Room 1 will be Pendulum, returning to matter for a DJ set with MC Jakes taking care of mic duties, with Finger Lickin’ Records taking charge of Room 2 with Utah Saints and Soul Of Man.
