Kos.Mos.Music presents the first EP of their new series LiquiDNAtion. As the title suggests, it aims at liquid funk.
'Ta Reine' by The Harmonist, a brand name in drum and bass opens the EP. The gimmick of the tune is a charming and sexual female vocal sample, put on straight beat and original sub bass line. This tune has already been played in Hospital Podcast #175.
The EP continues with 'Everytime' by Intelligent Manners, bright and trendy producer from Saint Peterborough. This is a deep roller with hypnotic piano melody and flamboyant hip-hop breakdown.
nClear's 'Only Way' probably is the most summer-sounding tune on the EP. Proper liquid roller with straight bass line, atmospheric textures and sunshine vibes.
Pleasantly ending of the release, 'Midnight Shadows' is a perfect combination of catchy melody and intelligent jungle beats, filled with the very special vision of drum and bass, which Electrosoul System, the label honcho, is so famous for.
LiquiDNAtion EP has already got support from many big names of the scene, London Elektricity, Marcus Intalex, LTJ Bukem, DJ Trax, Random Movement, Bop, Stunna, Blu Mar Ten to name a few.
