Poor list. There are some tunes on there that wouldn't have made my top 100. If they're the best singles of 2010 then dnb is in trouble. Of course I know this not to be the case

where is floating zero or any ulterior motive tracks.. memory lane shouldn't be in there atall! mind you it was taken from the writers at knowledge so its not like its a public vote... maybe this forum should do one to find out hte real top 20 singles of 2010

Excellent idea there young chap

would be interesting to find out what everyone thinks were the best tunes of the year, but to be honest my memories a bit hazy on what actually came out earlier this year.. what were the big tunes for january or february for instance

3. DJ Fresh vs Sigma - Lassitude (Breakbeat Kaos)

8. Danny Byrd - Ill Behaviour feat I-Kay (Hospital)

18. DJ Die, Interface & William Cartwright - Bright Lights (Clear Skyz)

Strongly disagree with the above selection

The fact that Break & Die - Slow Down and Total Science - Redlines are not on there deems this list void and overall, a huge pile of shit.

Slow down was on an album so does not fit the criteria of single.
However Spor - Kingdom made the list and that was on an EP.
Redlines i agree should be in the list along with many others that appear to have been replaced with the above toot.
Poor show knowledge mag.

Poor show knowledge mag.

surely that mean that ill behaviour would count as an album track even if it was the sampler guess that would go for three's a crowd as well..

Memory Lane was part of a compilation album. I'm pretty sure they just mean 'track' by 'single'.

yeah good point.
its splitting hairs a bit, but if they can take tunes from eps and lps for this list then it should be a hell of a lot different.
but maybe that's just my opinion!
speaking of my opinion... danny byrd ill behaviour? i mean really? i see how some people might like it, i understand that some people might even be as strange to own it, but to put it in a top 20 list???
ur basically saying there has only been a maximum of 19 singles this year that are better than this throw away soon to be on sale for 50p on discgos rubbish!

I'm trying very hard not to be offended at the lack of jungle in that list. It's a bit narrow-minded of them...tossers!

I like the fact Kingdom is first. Even though it would not be my first choice.
Where is Floating Zero? Or Favela? Or Desert Orgy..

And another top tune for me is The Jitters.

what a wanklist...seeing Ill Behavior, lassitude and history of the future in the top ten makes me sick(n)

One reason I always hate lists like this and awards n shit are people always forget tunes at the start of the year too. Like we had DC Breaks - Halo which came out January 2010 and was #1 on virtually every site, but nobody can remember 11 months ago. And I'm not even saying it should be on the list, just an example.

Also, look how many wicked tunes came out in the last 2 weeks alone.. Ram NL EP, Metrik EP, Shimon - Smoker RMX, Brookes Brothers - Last Night, Break LP, Fresh - Cylon, etc. So why not just wait till the damn year is actually over!
