As most of you know, Knowledge Magazine has always been dedicated to the progression of up and coming artists. Those of you keeping a close eye on the website last year will have noticed we ran a monthly competition to find some of the biggest unsigned talent covering the genres that we represent on a regular basis.
Well this year, the Kmag unsigned competition returns! Each month we shall be setting up a group on SoundCloud for you to submit your music which will be judged by the Kmag staff. The lucky winner will win a SoundCloud Pro account for a year, an interview on the website and a feature on our podcast. We shall also be rewarding two runners-up with a SoundCloud Lite account for the year.
If you are a budding producer then get involved. The monthly competition is also an opportunity to discover new artists, share ideas and offer feedback to other producers. This can be done via the discussion page on the SoundCloud group or on our very own forum which we'll be reintroducing soon. We want others to enjoy the music that you enjoy making and to provide a platform for you to progress further.
All submissions must be the full-length track and please ensure that it is your own original track and not a bootleg / unofficial remix of an already existing track. Tracks must also fall under one of the following genres; drum & bass, dubstep, hip hop, breaks or electronica. There is no cut-off date for your entries as this competition will run every month so feel free to submit your music as and when you wish to.
