    MIX DESCRIPTION

DIP VERTIGO is back at it again with a brand new solo mix for your listnening pleasure. This mix features Dip's classic maximum drops, bassline teases, double drops galore and his extrememly thought-out symetrical style programming, all mixed on 4 decks...that's right we said 4 decks!!! With this mix Dip is very happy to feature the tune "MUTANT MILITIA" from the newest memebers of DIVINE ELEMENTS, Celerity & Doppler. "KING ME" is a progressive carefully thought out journey through many different style of dnb. The mix starts out with an amazing rmx of "HIT THE ROAD JACK" which gets your heart racin', then mellows out on you with a lil' section of liquid dancefloor tunes, including Brookes Brother's "TEAR YOU DOWN." The mix contiunes to build up as Dip melodically transitions into some newer techy tunes straight to his favorite dancefloor style tracks, easing up a lil with some jungle tracks before really takin off again with a quick mixing jump up section that'll make you poo. To conclude the mix Dip comes back to the techy side of things and closes this long, yet tasteful journey, with "FALLING DOWN" by Silent Extent. Be on the look out....this cd has already began hitting the streets. We hope that you enjoy this masterpiece!!!

just about 3:rinsed:,, u cant call this a 4 deck mix

just becuase your cueing up on 2 vinyls and 2 cd decks/3decks 1 cd deck, or what eva your using doesnt mean its a 4 deck mix,

i cud say heres a 6 deck mix, cus im using 6 decks just queing up on different ones each time

i didnt hear 3 tunes in sync at the same time, let alone 4...

i was thinking of doing a 4 deck last year, but its just pointless, u cant get your Eqs rite and battling to keep it all in time is just crazy while trying to get new tunes on the decks aswell!!

u cud get away with doing it by playing some nice rolling tracks, and having progressive long mixes only way its gonna sound smooth

This doesnt cut the mustard at all imo

    sorry bro

My thoughts...Basically...I use 2 turntables and 2 cdjs constantly throught this mix. Some people don't consider cdj's decks and I strongly disagree with that. This mix would not be possible without 4 decks, hence why I call it 4 decks. In this mix there are a few times you will hear me bringing in 2 tracks on top of one, which I call my Maximum Drop, cause I don't drop all three at once, I just double drop the 2, although I have been known to bust some triple drops from time to time. Or you will see that i start the third track right on the double drop so I can do a quick bassline tease, then pull it out on the break while starting the next tune. Sometimes I'll have 3 tunes going and cue a fourth one up, while fading out 2, but lining the fourth up to double drop with the remaining tune...this does not take place on this particular mix, but I have done this on my radio show many times and on the regular live, all while singin' and mcin'.

I was planning on doing this for this mix...so here it goes.... I haven't seen many artists do this, but I thought I'd give you my road map so everyone could see how I put this mix together and how I plan all my studio mix's...for my live sets, I plan out a huge intro always and then freestyle the rest. So here it is...CD A is Channel 4, CD B is Channel 1 and the turn tables are your standard 2 & 3. Comments are more then welcomed....

    1) Hit The Road - Unknown vs. Road
------>Ho Bass - D Minds & Dirty Harry (start on drop) (CD A1)

    5) Tear You Down - Brookes Brothers (start on double drop) (CD B1)
    6) Blinking with Fists - Baron (start 32 after drop)
    7) Angels in Shadow - Contour (start 16 after "Tear You Down" comes out)

My mix submission for the WMC beat matching competition is the first one. 5 tunes, 5 mins, 5 basslines, 2 teases, 1 triple-drop and the first tune "Space Invasion" is going through out with out stopping come full circle.
