    Any good kicksnare etc. sample packs you guys could maybe share or recommend?
    Please, don't recommend Loopmasters or stuff like that.

    The June Miller pack from loopmasters is actually really solid for kicks and snares ;).

    i know its lm, but the blockhead one has some solid kicks and snares, lots of them too. BHK packs have quality drums too

    +1 for this, out of all the sample packs I have bought this one is really a cut above in variation of sound and amount of actual samples. Massive potential to make some killer layers on both Kicks and Snares. This is my go to pack when i am looking for single hits!!!!

    ive been making my own kicks and snares recently, getting some good results with my kicks in massive. not something i usually do

    Instead of rinsing out sample packs, go do some sampling yourself. All these sample packs around it's like walking into a shop and buying a premix cake, just adding a little bit of ingredients and 'hey presto, you have a cake'

    For instance, if you want some solid hitting snares go check out alot of bands on the Geffen label through the 90's. It's like they found the "hot as fuck" button.
