The faces i pulled to this mix were horrifying

This! And what I like the most about Kasra's mixes, this will sound akward, but it's that he's never faultless. There's some small adjustment here and there but still very quick and absolutely tight in whatever he mixes with what. Shows that he cares about his mixes, loves to mix and that he doesn't want them to be done by a software...

I know what you mean. I much prefer to hear the DJ's live mixing rather than a completely perfect mix which could have only been done on software or with beatmatched cds
