imo it needs something melodic over the top of the bass in some sections to add more interest and more variation in the bass

Sounding damn great and nasty. I'd just mix down a lil' bit the hats.

I like it but you probably want little bit constructive critics

the closed hi hat is little bit too loud,I believe if you put it down anything between 1-3db down would be good,it sounds nice in home but that loud hi hat would be at crazy loud levels of like for example fabric audiosystem harsh to ear, high freqencies can becose especialy harsh at loud levels

also I would put some very high passed brigh shadow break there,to fill out the hi end

The concept is great mate :) . I like it that you change the sound after 4 times. Imo, i would ad some more lighter hihats also, for some more variation. Also, when there's no bass playing, add some fx, vocal sample ect... This can be a banger mate :)

drums are decent. bass n melody gets boring very quickly i think, needs more sounds to bounce off the bass and theres some phasing issues on some of the bass notes

here's my updated version. i'm sure the high pitched noise in the first section will be either hit or miss so your thoughts are much appreciated. hopefully the mix sounds better generally either way

when it kicks into that second bassline it needs some synth leads for real this is awesome too

keep the pads from the intro going!

    What i'd do different:
The hats a bit louder in the mix, and some more high end.
    Maybe some more fx

Rest is top though, like the flow in it
